We are a group of organizations and individuals that seek to be a positive instrument in our community for families to have a better quality of life. As founding members of the recently formed Los Cabos Community Alliance, we want to bring the entire community of Los Cabos to work together toward common goals and projects.
For the first project of this alliance, Los Cabos Children's Foundation will partner with Fundacion Teleton, one of Mexico’s largest non-profits specializing in rehabilitation centers called CRITs. The BCS CRIT, located in La Paz, serves around 950 children from the whole state every year. More than 30% of them are from Los Cabos, but in eight years of operations, almost 400 children from Los Cabos have dropped out of the program due to lack of transportation. The Teleton Bus Project will solve this and much more. It is a much-needed service to access the critical pediatric services only offered in La Paz: cancer treatment, cardiac care, and other specialties in children’s medical care.
